1. HOW SHIPPING WORKS

We currently ship to addresses in the United States. International shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis, depending on the nature of the order and destination. Additional duties and fees for international shipments may apply.

2. LOCAL PICK-UP (IF APPLICABLE)

Where available, What-A-Box may offer a local pick-up option for customers located near our facilities in Willow Spring, North Carolina. Please check our Website or contact us directly at (919) 444-5819 or [email protected] to confirm availability, dates, and times for pick-up.

3. FREE SHIPPING (IF APPLICABLE)

Any references to “free shipping” apply only to qualifying orders and to addresses within the contiguous United States (unless explicitly stated otherwise). Free shipping thresholds, if offered, will be displayed during checkout and are subject to change without notice. Shipping outside the contiguous United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, or U.S. territories, and any international destinations, may incur additional charges.

4. ADDRESS CORRECTIONS & BULK SHIPPING

Bulk Orders: If you place a single order containing multiple gift boxes shipping to one address, it is considered a bulk order. If you later decide to drop-ship boxes individually to multiple recipients, please email us at [email protected] to coordinate. Additional shipping fees may apply when converting from a bulk shipment to individual shipments.

Address Accuracy: Please ensure the recipient’s name and delivery address are correct. We are not responsible for shipping issues arising from incorrect addresses.

5. TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED SHIPPING

During warmer months, certain gift boxes (especially those containing perishable items like chocolate) may require insulated packaging or expedited shipping. Any necessary surcharges for such special packaging will be automatically applied at checkout. We will make an effort to label any items requiring temperature control on the product listing. If you wish to avoid temperature-control costs or are unsure about weather-sensitive products, please contact us for alternative options.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All gift box designs, images, descriptions, and the overall “look and feel” of What-A-Box offerings are the sole property of Present Gifts, LLC. No portion of our gift designs, packaging, or branding may be reproduced, duplicated, or resold without express written permission.

7. SUBSTITUTIONS

Because we often source from small-batch or artisan producers, certain items may go out of stock or become unavailable with minimal notice. We reserve the right to substitute an item of equal or greater value to fulfill your order in a timely manner. If an especially unique product is unavailable and no suitable substitute exists, we will remove that item from your order and issue an appropriate credit or refund.

8. WARM WEATHER SHIPPING

Melt-prone products (e.g., chocolate) are shipped at your own risk. We take reasonable precautions (such as insulated packaging) but cannot guarantee products will not be affected by extreme temperatures during transit. We do not issue refunds for products that sustain heat damage or melting.

9. PRODUCT PACKAGING & IMAGES

Manufacturers occasionally change their product packaging or ingredient lists without notice. As a result, the product you receive may differ from images on our Website. Please read all labels and warnings before consuming or using any item. If you have questions about a particular product, please contact the manufacturer directly. We have endeavored to display product images and colors accurately, but we cannot guarantee your monitor’s display will be true to life.

11. HOTEL DELIVERIES

If we deliver gifts to a hotel at your request, once hotel personnel sign for the packages, we consider our obligation fulfilled. It is the responsibility of hotel staff to ensure gifts are either delivered to the guest’s room or made available upon check-in. We cannot refund orders that are misplaced, not delivered to the guest in a timely manner, or otherwise unclaimed once accepted by the hotel.

12. UNCLAIMED SHIPMENTS

What-A-Box is not responsible for packages unclaimed by recipients. If an item is returned to us as unclaimed or undeliverable, additional shipping fees may apply to re-ship. We do not typically issue refunds for unclaimed or abandoned packages, unless otherwise stated in our Return Policy.

13. DAMAGED DELIVERIES

We must be notified of damaged products within 24 hours of delivery. If you observe damage, please keep all packaging materials and email images of the damaged items to [email protected]. We may need them for courier inspection or to file a shipping claim.

14. FOOD ALLERGY DISCLAIMER

Any food or beverage items included in What-A-Box offerings may be labeled with possible allergen-containing ingredients (as provided by the manufacturer). We reserve the right to include a small business card or insert card in each shipped box. If you submit personalized text, images, or other materials for printing on gift tags, stickers, or any other item, you are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of spelling, grammar, and other content. Common Questions

Since this is a gift, can I request a specific delivery date?

We can provide you with a specific ship date and advise you on the best shipping method to use to meet your date, but we cannot ensure a specific arrival date since we cannot control UPS processes. Email us at [email protected].

When will I get my order?

Typically, orders take 2 days to process and 2-6 days to ship via standard ground shipping, depending on your ship to location. If you’re in a pinch, email us at [email protected], and we’ll see what we can do.

If you select one of our expedited shipping options, we will fulfill orders placed before 9AM EST the same business day, otherwise they will be fulfilled the next business day.

**Please note orders placed after 9AM EST on Friday will process and ship the following Monday.
